Abstract
Lawrence Park was an amateur photographer. He and his wife, Betty, donated a small collection of black and white photographs Mr. Park took of migrant workers in southern New Jersey farm fields in the 1960s and 1970s.
In 1947, New Jersey convened a Constitutional Convention at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. The purpose of this Convention was to overhaul the New Jersey Constitution, last updated in 1844. Mr. Park was appointed as one of the delegates to this Convention. The Parks, longtime Glassboro, NJ, residents, donated his papers from his time as a delegate and his notes on the proceedings. Mrs. Park was employed by Rowan University as an administrator in the Music and Art Department from 1975 through 1998. This collection is currently unprocessed.
