Volume 1 contains newspaper clippings from the dates January 1938 to November 1938; a photograph from April 27, 1938 that states it is the members of the joint Congressional Tennessee Valley Authority Investigation Committee with a letter attached from a Mr. James A. Farley giving Congressman Wolverton the photograph. The back of the scrapbook is a Certificate of Nomination from the Secretary of State-Primary Election September 20, 1938.

Volume 2 is labeled 1938 and contians newpsper clippings beginning with November 1938 and covers the months and years up to October 1944. The scrapbook also contians a photograph with the caption "Homestead Boys in United States Fighting Forces."
